After hours procedures include

• Foreign body retrieval
• Bowel obstruction/correction
• Gastric Dilatation and Torsion
• Wound care
• Splenectomy

Metropolitan Veterinary Referral Services offers all surgical and critical care patients state of the art monitoring equipment and techniques by a highly trained nursing and anesthesia staff.  Standard monitoring technique includes:

• Pulse oximetry
• Capnography (C02 measurement)
• blood pressure – non-invasive doppler and invasive direct arterial
• Mechanical ventilation during surgery
• Electrocardiogram (EKG) monitoring
